The One About the Discipline of Spending Time with God
/26:10/S2:E36
Welcome Back to the Made to Pray podcast - a podcast about Prayer, and a podcast to pray along with! Our co-hosts Lori and Karrilee talk a bit today about having the discipline to set time aside to pray with God. Whether it is in the morning with your first cup of coffee or tea, during a commute in your car or a train, or in the evening as you unwind from the day... they encourage and challenge us to make it a discipline every day! Start small if this is not something you already do! Set a timer for just 5 or 10 minutes and learn to be consistent and then increase your time as you are able! If you want to hear God more clearly... if you want to press in and grow in your relationship with Him... and if you want to see God more actively in your life --it all comes back to having a discipline to spend time with Him!
Don't forget to Like, Follow, Share, and Review the podcast! This is not only encouraging to our co-hosts, but it also helps the algorithm to invite new listeners and grow our audience!
Here are the two books mentioned in this week's episode:
Holy Habits by Noah Herrin
(That Sounds Fun Podcast with Annie F. Downs and Noah Herrin)
Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster
